Event Managers
Clara Moriceau
(France)
Clara is a French engineer currently working as astronaut and Ground Support Personnel instructor at the European Astronaut Center, for Telespazio Germany (Köln). She is also involved in the operations of experiments and payloads for the ISS programme. She has a background in applied mathematics from INSA Rouen Normandie and space systems engineering from ISAE-Supaero in France.
On SGAC side, Clara is a member of the Gender and Diversity Project Group, co-leading the PADAWANS long-term project which aims at organizing workshops in schools for children, involving their parents, to raise awareness about diversity in the space sector. She has served as the French NPoC from 2022 to 2024 and has been involved in organising several SGAC events since 2019.
Apart from work, Clara loves spending her time with friends and family, travelling to discover new cultures and new people, not only abroad: Sometimes wonderful places are just in front of your eyes!
Tania Gres
(France)
Tania is an aerospace system engineer working in Thales Alenia Space in Turin (Italy) on Lunar orbit stations and LEO scientific missions. She graduated from IPSA Toulouse in 2020 and did a specialized master in space exploration systems in Politecnico di Torino (Italy). Born in Germany and raised in France, from a family of artists and engineers, today she fulfills her dreams of working in the European space industry. As an engineer by day, and as a SGAC volunteer at night. Within SGAC, she has served as National point of contact of France between 2022 and 2024. She was the leader of the DIVINAS long term project of the Diversity and Gender Equality Project Group as well as part of the logistics team for the SGC 2022 in Paris and SGC 2024 in Milan. She was the SG[France]2021 event manager, she organized the first Model UN of SGAC in collaboration with the European Center for Space Law and supervised the last two SG[France] events. She is a genuine space enthusiast and an advocate for Women in STEM !
In her free time she competes artistics gymnastics at national level, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, diving, alpinism, drawing and flying onboard a glider.

Megha Choudhary
(India)
Megha recently graduated with a master’s in aerospace engineering, specializing in Space Systems, from ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse, France. She holds a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from India. She has held leadership roles in SEDS India, SEDS-VIT, and WoAA International, and has been actively involved in the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) in various capacities. Megha received the NASA SCaN and SGAC Scholarship in 2021, and the European Space Leaders Award in 2023. With internships at GMV and Exotrail, she is now seeking full-time opportunities in the space industry. Passionate about diversity, she advocates for inclusivity in space. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction, drawing, and walking.
Yulia Akisheva
(Sweden/Russia)
Dr. Yulia Akisheva is a researcher, aerospace engineer, and dedicated advocate for gender equality, earning several awards including the Pioneer Award from SGAC. Yulia co-founded the Diversity and Gender Equality Project Group of SGAC in 2021 and has been co-leading it since. In 2023, she gained a PhD in the Protective Use of Regolith for Planetary and Lunar Exploration – a venture supported by the European Space Agency. Today, Yulia consults space exploration projects and coaches engineers in effective communication as the founder of Yulia Talk Smart & Consulting. Meet her talent on Substack and Youtube.
Ygor Quadros de Aguiar
(Brazil)
Dr. Ygor Aguiar is an associate scientist at CERN and a postdoctoral researcher at Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne. His expertise lies in microelectronics, focusing on radiation effects on electronics, hardening techniques, dosimetry and radiation hardness assurance. Dr. Aguiar earned his Ph.D. in Electronics from Université de Montpellier in 2020 as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow. At CERN, he contributes to the Radiation to Electronics (R2E) project, which addresses radiation effects in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and its injector chain, and to the RADNEXT initiative, improving the existing european radiation testing infrastructure and advancing the understanding of radiation-induced failures in environments like particle accelerators and space. He authored the book “Single-Event Effects: From Space to Accelerator Environments” and over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Aguiar also advocates for diversity in engineering, organizing initiatives such as the “Women in Engineering” event at RADECS 2024.
Guillaume Brault
(France/Canada)
Guillaume is a young space engineer of French and Canadian origin. He pursues interests in space exploration, rocket propulsion, and space sustainability. He recently co-founded Tumbleweed Microgravity, a start-up dedicated to making spaceflight radically accessible through end-to-end microgravity flight services. In the past, he contributed to the EscaPADE Mars mission at Rocket Lab as well as the Orbital Baguette launcher at HyPrSpace. An active member of the global space community through SGAC and ISU, Guillaume received the 2024 SGAC Nebula award. Having led the programme team of SG[France] 2024 with the theme “Sustainable Earth, Space, Future” and attended the last Space Generation Congress as a delegate, Guillaume is returning as a member of the programme team for E-SGW 2025. In his spare time, he is an amateur glider pilot and gigging musician.
Marco Rigamonti
(Italy)
Marco is an aerospace engineer passionate about space exploration, access to space, and space debris mitigation. Pursuing a PhD in space propulsion at Sapienza University of Rome, he is investigating hybrid motors and Scramjet combustion. He holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering (University of Naples Federico II) and another in Astronautics and Space Engineering (Cranfield University).
Marco’s research spans Space Situational Awareness, debris mitigation, hypersonics, and microgravity experiments. He participated in ESA’s 77th parabolic flight campaign to test a drag sail system for small satellites and explored microgravity research on light aircraft. He has been actively involved as a delegate in several SGAC events, including SGC23 in Baku and the 3rd and 5th Italian Space Start-Up Competition, and he has been part of the organising team of SGC24 in Milan. In his free time, Marco is learning French and exploring autonomous drone technologies. He also enjoys skiing and scuba diving.
Prève Chobert
(France)
With a background in architecture, Prève expanded her knowledge with a Master of Space Science (MSc) from the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg. She is currently working at DLR Bremen on the design of a workstation for a Bioregenerative Life Support System. Prève has prior experience at ESA, where she researched lunar landing pads made of sintered regolith bricks and inflatable lunar landers. Her main skills include human factors, design development, planning, and testing.

Lea Zoe Kablitz
(Germany)
Lea is a 25-year-old industrial engineer from Germany. She holds a double master’s degree from KTH Stockholm and TU Darmstadt. After completing her studies, she relocated to the Netherlands where she worked as a Trainee in Strategy at the European Space Agency.
Throughout her academic journey, she maintained a strong entrepreneurial focus, participating in the KTH Pre-Incubator Program and several hackathons. She is passionate about developing innovative solutions and enabling sustainable value creation.
Although she is new to SGAC, she has a long history of volunteering, particularly in project management and international event organization.
Outside of work, she is a sports enthusiast who loves spending time in nature, climbing, hiking, and cycling. Her curiosity inspires her to discover new adventures, explore different places and cities, but also to take on more or less successful DIY projects.
Miriam Opazo Mendez
(Spain)
Mia is a scientist and engineer driven by the vision of solving the complex challenges that will shape humanity’s future. She holds a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO and a double bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her work spans advancing microgravity research, exploring human resilience in extreme environments, and contributing to the design of lunar settlements during her time at CNES. As a former project manager for UNIVERSEH, Mia successfully coordinated with diverse teams across Europe, reflecting her belief in the power of global collaboration to build a better future.

Mathieu Lafont
(France)
Mathieu is a Pre-Sales Engineer for Satcom at Airbus Defense and Space in Toulouse, France, focusing on satellite telecommunication solutions for government clients. His role blends technical expertise with financial modeling to craft tailored offers. He earned a Master’s in Aerospace Systems Engineering from IPSA (2022), specializing in mechatronics. Mathieu also studied Biomechanical Engineering in South Korea (2021) for 3D Bio-Printing.
Building on his technical background, he pursued a Specialized Master’s in Technological Innovation Management at Toulouse Business School (2023). During this program, he worked at Airbus Central Innovation as a Venture Architect, conducting competitive intelligence and financial analysis.
Passionate about sharing knowledge, Mathieu teaches at Toulouse Business School for the MSc.
Originally from the Caribbean, he aspires to make a meaningful impact in the space industry and welcomes discussions about technology, innovation, and geopolitics.

Antonio Scannapieco

Antonio is Product/Program Manager at D-Orbit, leading different space projects and programs. Previously, he was Senior Autonomous Flight Engineer and then Product Owner/Project Manager for Volocopter and Autonomous Driving Engineer for Stellantis focusing on cutting-edge technologies for autonomous systems. He was also active in academia, with a postdoc – and then a visiting fellowship – at Cranfield Defence and Security.
Antonio holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering (2013) and a PhD in Industrial Engineering (2017) awarded by University of Napoli “Federico II”, Italy. During the PhD, he joined Fraunhofer FHR (Germany) as Visiting Researcher. He was also the Rapporteur for the “Highly Integrated Distributed Systems” session at IAC 2018 and Co-Chair for “Space Culture – Public Engagement in Space through Culture” session at IAC 2023. Antonio has also been Mentor for Constellation organization. Antonio is also very active within the Space Generation Advisory Council, where he held different roles since 2015.
Claudia Buck

Claudia is an aerospace engineering graduate from FH Aachen University. She completed her Bachelor’s thesis at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS), Norway, where she studied pulsating auroras at high latitudes and compared them with those at lower latitudes. After her thesis, she decided to dive deeper into this fascinating field, which led her to pursue the SpaceMaster program. She spent her first year at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in Sweden and is now completing her second year at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France. She has definitely found her passion, and is excited to start applying what she learned!

Alejandro Lara Juan

Alejandro is a motivated aerospace engineer, currently based in Toulouse, where he has been contributing to the space industry for the last three years. Passionate about space exploration, he has participated in an experiment aimed at enhancing the conditions of the astronauts. Proactive and enthusiastic professional, he thrives on challenges and he is driven by his love for innovation. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, discovering new cultures and staying active by playing sports.
Emeric Villette

Emeric is a French aerospace engineer currently working at the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) as a spaceport engineer, where he secretly hopes to spot UFOs while perfecting rocket pads. A jack-of-all-trades, he’s always exploring the nooks and crannies of space engineering, dreaming of one day joining an exploration mission.
After the Covid pandemic took place, Emeric was feeling really sad because he wasn’t able to see his friends for a long time so he participated at the SG France 2021 in Lille. He had such a blast that he came back in 2022. After that, in 2023 and 2024 he did it again, this time working behind the scenes with the program team. This year, he’s switching gears to the logistics team, eager once again to help the event soar to new heights!.

Sarah is a 24 Algerian student based in Toulouse, with a multicultural background and fluency in Arabic, English and French. Passionate about aviation, technology, and fostering international collaboration, she strives to connect diverse perspectives to drive meaningful change. Her organizational skills and enthusiasm for teamwork are key assets she brings to this project. Sarah is thrilled to contribute to E-SGW 2025, particularly as it will take place in the pink city !
Nicolas Soulard
(France)
Nicolas is a French aerospace engineer, he currently works in Toulouse for the French space agency (CNES) in satellite operations. His job consists in executing on-board activities for science satellites such as the CNES/NASA altimetry mission SWOT and the Kinéis satellite constellation for Internet of Things services. Nicolas graduated in 2019 from ENAC (the French Civil Aviation University) where he completed a master’s degree in aeronautics and aerospace telecommunications. He also studied at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and interned at Airbus Defence & Space in Germany. Nicolas has been a member of SGAC since 2019; he organised the SG[France]2020 and was active in the Diversity and Gender Equality Project Group for several years. He also enjoys working with young people, like introducing children to space through school interventions. During his free time, Nicolas likes hiking in the Pyrenees, playing roller in-line hockey and reading science fiction novels.

Théa Beaury

Théa is a Colombian and French undergraduate physics student at the University of Bordeaux. Previous activities she has been involved with include being Secretary General of her school’s Model United Nations and co-founder of a Girl Up gender equality club. Théa enjoys volunteering, has participated in editions of Tikkun Olam Makers and was in the programming branch of a First Robotics Competition team. Her involvement with SGAC began in 2023 by planning the 5th Italian Space Startup Competition and 8th European Space Generation Workshop, which led her to the 9th E-SGW.
Mariem Chokki

Mariem is a dedicated student of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, with a strong interest in innovation and global collaboration. She brings a well-rounded skill set to her endeavors, combining technical expertise, problem- solving abilities, and a calm, organized approach to challenges.
Her academic journey is complemented by diverse experiences in high-pressure environments, where she developed strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Sahil Bhatia
(India)
Sahil is a space engineering grad student at the University of Bremen, focusing on human spaceflight and life support technologies. His research on space sustainability, particularly for future Lunar missions, earned him a spot in the 2023 Diverse Dozen by the AIAA. Sahil is also the co-founder of the Beyond Earthbound community, which explores the intersection of Space, Arts, and Humanities. His involvement with SGAC began in 2021 as a member of various project groups, and was part of the delegates team for the 8th European Space Generation Workshop in Munich in 2024. Outside of his passion for space, Sahil is a certified barista with the Specialty Coffee Association. He loves diving deep into the world of coffee and is always in search of the best cafés around town.
