The Space Generation Congress 2026 is an international gathering of selected students and young professionals who are passionate about space. It brings together the next generation of space leaders to discuss important topics shaping the future of the global space sector.

SGC 2026 will take place in Antalya, Türkiye. The city will host young space leaders from around the world for three days of discussions, collaboration, networking, and community-building.

SGC 2026 will be held from 1 – 3 October 2026.

The theme of SGC 2026 is “Under One Moon, Across All Nations.” The theme highlights global unity, international cooperation, and the shared responsibility of building a sustainable future in space and on Earth.

The theme reminds us that space is a shared human frontier. Although people come from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, we all look toward the same Moon. The theme encourages delegates to think about how space exploration can bring nations together rather than divide them.

SGC is traditionally held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress. This allows young space professionals to engage with global space-sector conversations while also building their own youth-led platform for ideas, leadership, and collaboration.

SGC brings together selected students and young professionals from different countries, disciplines, and career stages. Delegates may come from engineering, science, policy, law, business, communications, medicine, sustainability, arts, or other fields connected to space.

Delegates participate in discussions, working sessions, networking activities, and collaborative exchanges. The event is designed to help young space leaders share perspectives, develop ideas, and contribute to conversations about the future of space exploration and sustainability.

SGC is not only about listening to talks. It is designed around active participation. Delegates are expected to engage, discuss, collaborate, and contribute ideas. The focus is on building a global community of young space leaders rather than simply attending sessions.

SGC creates a space where delegates from different countries and regions can exchange ideas, understand different perspectives, and build long-term professional relationships. The event encourages cooperation across national, cultural, academic, and professional boundaries.

A strong delegate cohort should include different regions, disciplines, experiences, and viewpoints. Diversity helps create richer discussions and ensures that the future of space is shaped by a wider range of voices, not only by established space actors.
