The SGAC Diversity and Gender Equality Project Group, formerly known as the Our Giant Leap initiative, is organizing its very first hackathon in 2022 under the general theme : "How can space technology and know-how help make a leap forward towards gender equality on Earth?" in Daejeon, South Korea on August 14th and 15th 2022.
Three winners have been selected for their contributions to the SG[Egypt] and Our Giant Leap artwork competition and presented their artwork on Saturday, July 10th 2021 during a live artwork showcase during SG[Egypt]2021. Launching the first Our Giant Leap Magazine! - This is a long-term communication project aimed at promoting diverse profiles of the aerospace industry as well as sharing resources and new initiatives. On this International Day of Women’s Rights, the Our Giant Leap initiative is thrilled to share the very first edition of the magazine, which focuses mainly on gender equality and includes the interviews of Libby Jackson (Human Exploration Programme Manager at the UK Space Agency), Grazia Vittadini (CTO at Airbus) and Dr. Abimbola H. Part of the Our Giant Leap Masterclass Series on empowerment, this Masterclass will enable you to better understand the Impostor Syndrome and to find ways to gain self-esteem and self-confidence.
