South America Space Generation Workshop 2023
The 8th SA-SGW is a two day event made in partnership with Cydonia Foundation and Universidad de América, where students, young professionals, industry leaders and anyone interested in space exploration from the region and all over the world will have the opportunity to discuss and propose solutions to use space technology for the benefit of the region. Workshop will bring 100+ students and young professionals from South America to discuss Space Related topics.

SGAC is proud to announce the winners of the 2022 South American Space Leaders Award 2022 who will be sponsored to attend the 7th SA-SGW event, held on the 15th of May 2022 in Quito, Ecuador.
South America Space Generation Workshop 2022
The 7th South American Space Generation Workshop (SA-SGW) is a one-day hybrid workshop, which brings together students, young professionals, industry experts and government stakeholders from across Latin America. It provides an unparalleled opportunity for the future leaders of South Americas’ space sector to proactively establish strong relationships, exchange ideas and knowledge, and to collaborate on novel ways in which space technology can be utilized for the benefit of the region. The 7th SA-SGW will be held on the 15th of May 2022 in Quito, Ecuador. Participants will be divided into working groups (WGs), each focusing on a specific sub-theme broadly covering Technology, Entrepreneurship, Policy and Capacity Building.

Based on the success of the previous South American Space Generation Workshops (SA-SGW), SGAC will organise the 6th South American Space Generation Workshop in 2020. The call is open to SGAC members in the South American Region, however, bids from Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Bolivia will not be considered, as this country have already hosted a major SGAC regional event in the past four years.
