SGAC Global Health and Safety Guidelines
SGAC and our partners are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy experience for all of our participants at our events.
This document outlines the enhanced measures we have put in place globally as we reintroduce in-person events in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In-person participation at events are subject to any additional local laws or public health regulations and measures in place.
For All Participants:
● Masks will be mandatory for all participants indoors, except when eating or drinking. Masks are recommended but not required outdoors.
● Eating and drinking will be in an outdoor area where possible, or be in a well-ventilated indoor area.
● Food and beverage will be served, with minimal self-served options.
● Room capacity will be limited according to local guidelines for physical distancing.
● High traffic and touch areas (such as handrails, door knobs, elevator buttons) will be disinfected by venue staff frequently.
● Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the event.
● No-touch registration will be provided to the extent practicable.
For Speakers:
● Speaker windshields will be provided at the podium (if available).
● Podiums and handheld microphones will be disinfectant wiped down after each use.
COVID testing around Colorado Springs
SGAC will assist with finding local COVID testing facilities during the event to meet COVID testing requirements for travel home. The costs of COVID testing will be the responsibility of the participants. Here are some suggestions:
