Davide Petrillo, SGAC Executive Director, has been elected as one of the new vice presidents of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF).
The SGAC is proud to announce an exciting new collaboration with the ECSL (European Center for Space Law), established under the auspices of the European Space Agency, aimed at promoting space law for students and young professionals. The event will be a simulation of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (Model UN COPUOS), to be held online in Q2 of 2022. The first edition should be held online to enable as many students to participate as possible, paving the way for an in person event in the future.

The new Report Team will have the responsibility to coordinate with Event Teams across the globe and, based on notes and content provided by these, produce reports in the most professional, consistent and timely manner possible, and help SGAC members to convey their messages and recommendations worldwide!
