SGAC is led by young aspiring space enthusiasts, students and young professionals under 35 years old from different backgrounds starting their career in space. Our goal is to help solidify their voice and present their ideas to leading space institutions such as United Nations, space agencies, leaders in the industry and academia.

Tales from the African Space Generation Workshop
The African Space Generation Workshop (AF-SGW) is a two day regional SGAC event that is held once a year in a different country in Africa. This year’s SGAC AF-SGW was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the aim of bringing together space experts and young Africans to exchange ideas about how to advance space activities on the continent.

However, space law is a thriving area both within the aerospace industry as a vocation and the legal field in general. The United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS) and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) created the five major building blocks of international space law.
