Based on the success of the previous Asia-Pacific Space Generation Workshops (AP-SGW), SGAC will organise the 7th Asia-Pacific Space Generation Workshop in 2020 and is opening a call for bids to host the AP-SGW.
SGAC is pleased to announce that Matteo Cappella has been selected as the first ever SGAC Operations Manager, the second full-time employee of SGAC. After having announced and approved the creation of the position of Operations Manager, SGAC launched an open call and recruitment round to find the best candidate to support the organization’s activities. Among all the candidates, Matteo Cappella – already supporting SGAC as Consultant – emerged as the clear choice to fill in this significant role.
Based on the success of previous African Space Generation Workshops (AF-SGW), SGAC will organise the 4th African Space Generation Workshop in 2020.
The Space Generation Congress (SGC) is the annual meeting of the Space Generation Advisory Council held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress. Participants are top university students and young professionals with a passion for space who are selected from among applicants from our Space Generation international network.
Based on the success of the previous South American Space Generation Workshops (SA-SGW), SGAC will organise the 6th South American Space Generation Workshop in 2020. The call is open to SGAC members in the South American Region, however, bids from Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Bolivia will not be considered, as this country have already hosted a major SGAC regional event in the past four years.
Following a successful 4th edition of the European Space Generation Workshop (ESGW) held in London earlier this year, Madrid has been chosen to host the 2020 edition of SGAC’s European flagship event.
Based on the success of the 1st European Space Generation Workshop (E-SGW) held in Budapest (Hungary), the 2nd E-SGW held in Paris (France), the 3rd E-SGW held in Bucharest (Romania) and the 4th European Space Generation Workshop (E-SGW) held in London (UK), SGAC will organise the 5th European Space Generation Workshop in 2020 and we are looking for the perfect place for this event.
