The third episode of the Our Giant Leap Podcast is out!

The Our Giant Leap Podcast (#RadiOGL) is a project from the Diversity and Gender Equality Project Group, brought to you by a team of five students and young professionals, volunteering for the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC). Its primary goal is to release podcasts to educate and raise awareness on the topic of gender equality and diversity in the space industry. The Our Giant Leap Podcast also aims at bringing visibility to professionals from the space sector, by letting them become potential future role models for the audience. On October 2nd 2022 the third episode, titled "Igniting Innovation: How Entrepreneurs are Changing the Space Domain" was released on Spotify!

Our Giant Leap at the International Astronautical Congress 2022!

SGC 2022 x CNES x Our Giant Leap Call for Artwork

In an effort to highlight the beauty and inspiration that is intrinsic to the space sector, the Space Generation Congress (SGC) 2022 Paris and the SGAC Diversity and Gender Equality Project Group (also known as Our Giant Leap) are collaborating on an artwork competition.  We are therefore inviting artists to submit their original artwork under this year’s Space Generation Congress motto: “Diversity, Access and Inclusion” before August 7th 2022.

Celebrating Pride Month 2022 with Our Giant Leap

Every year, during the month of June, also known as “Pride Month”, the LGBTQIA+ community is raising its voice even louder all over the world. Embracing the visibility the LGBTQIA+ community is developing, this year we are adhering to this celebration. Especially since we now have a Research subteam focusing on working on making the aerospace sector more inclusive with respect to the LGBTQIA+ community.
