SG[Egypt] 2021 Space Hero Scholarship

Space Hero is the first worldwide movement aiming to democratize Space through a biennial global competition where a non-astronaut, non-military, non-billionaire will be given the chance to go into Space. Now, Space Hero is collaborating with SGAC to sponsor 24 SGAC members to attend the 1st SG[Egypt] to be held online in July 2021.

[SGC 2021 – IAC 2021] NASA SCaN 2021 Scholarship

SGAC has partnered with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Space Communication and Navigation (NASA SCaN) to bring 3 SGAC members to attend the 19th Space Generation Congress (SGC) and the 72nd International Astronautical Congress (IAC) on 21 - 23 October and the 25 - 29 October, 2021 respectively in Dubai, UAE.

Announcement of the $pace is Business 2021 Competition Winner

SGAC is pleased to announce Simon Shuham as the winner of the 2021 $pace is Business ($iB) Competition! This competition, developed in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee (EIC) of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), offered students and young professionals the opportunity to share their views and analysis on the past, present and future of entrepreneurship and investment within the space sector.

[SGx/SATELLITE 2021] SGAC-SSPI Essay Competition

The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), the Future Space Leaders Foundation (FSLF), and SATELLITE, organizers of SGx2021, have joined forces with Space & Satellite Professionals Internationals (SSPI) to bring one person to attend SGx2021 on September 7th, providing complimentary entrance to SATELLITE 2021. SGx activities during SATELLITE are hosted in Washington, DC, USA, on 7th September 2021. The competition winner will also receive access to the invitation-only SSPI Chairman's Reception on 8th September 2021.

Announcement ESA Astronaut Application Medical Certificate Grant 2021

SGAC is proud to announce the winners of the ESA Astronaut Application Medical Certificate Grant 2021 who will be sponsored to get funding for their medical certificate MED-2. This grant was possible due to the sponsorship from the ISS Crew Fund.

ESA Astronaut Medical Certificate Grant

This year the European Space Agency (ESA) announced that for the first time in over a decade they have opened applications for a new generation of European Astronauts. For the 2021-2022 selection, applicants must obtain a European Part-MED, Class 2 (Private Pilot) medical certificate.

[SGC/IAC 2021] $pace is Business Competition

The Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee (EIC) of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in cooperation with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is pleased to launch another edition of the $pace is Business Competition this year. This competition is an opportunity for students and young professionals to share their views and analysis on the past, present and future of entrepreneurship and investment within the space sector. The winner of this paper competition will be invited to present their paper at the IAF Business Innovation Symposium.
