The North, Central America and Caribbean Space Generation Workshop (NCAC-SGW) is an international event that aims to bring together students and young professionals to collaborate and collectively create the future of space in this region. It is held at the Space Center Houston in Houston, Texas, USA on June 24-25, 2022.
The Space Generation Congress (SGC) is SGAC’s annual meeting in support of the United Nations (UN) Programme on Space Applications. Top university students and young professionals with a passion for space will travel from all around the globe to attend three days of the 19th SGC. Up to 150 delegates will enjoy an inspiring and resourceful engagement with their peers at the congress, held in Paris, on September 14-16 2022, prior to the 73rd International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
The 7th South American Space Generation Workshop (SA-SGW) is a one-day hybrid workshop, which brings together students, young professionals, industry experts and government stakeholders from across Latin America. It provides an unparalleled opportunity for the future leaders of South Americas’ space sector to proactively establish strong relationships, exchange ideas and knowledge, and to collaborate on novel ways in which space technology can be utilized for the benefit of the region. The 7th SA-SGW will be held on the 15th of May 2022 in Quito, Ecuador. Participants will be divided into working groups (WGs), each focusing on a specific sub-theme broadly covering Technology, Entrepreneurship, Policy and Capacity Building.
After the successful inauguration of SG[Spain] in 2019, the second instance of this event is taking place this summer in Madrid on June 24th and 25th, intended for university students, young professionals (aged 18-35 years) and guest speakers from the space industry, space agencies, space non-governmental organizations and research laboratories. The purpose of the event is to gather together people who are passionate about space coming from different backgrounds to enhance interdisciplinary professional networks and exchange of ideas regarding the future of the space field.
