SGAC has partnered with the Australian Space Agency (ASA) to bring one Australian to attend the 10th Space Generation Fusion Forum (March 19 [Virtual] and April 1-4 [Hybrid]) and the 37th Space Symposium (April 4-7) in Colorado Springs, USA.

African Union Scholarship for GMES and Africa Second Forum 2021

The African Union has kindly agreed to sponsor 10 African SGAC members to attend the GMES & Africa Second Continental Forum on 6-10 December 2021 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The African Union is providing funds that will aim to partially cover the round trip travel costs via economy airfare, accommodation, visa costs and possible covid tests. The award will be managed directly by the African Union.

[SGC/IAC 2021] ESA Diversity Scholarship

The European Space Agency (ESA) in cooperation with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) has organised the ESA – SGAC Diversity Scholarship. This video/essay scholarship is a great opportunity for students and young professionals from emerging countries to share their views on diversity and ESA.

[SMLS/SSS] Space Health Risks Competition 2021

The Space Medicine and Life Sciences (SMLS) and Space Safety and Sustainability (SSS) project groups of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), alongside the University College London (UCL) Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction (IRDR) Space Health Risks Research Group, are launching a short answer competition to recruit members to work alongside their research team.

Are you a professional space enthusiastic photographer or a passionate hobby photographer? Yes? Then this scholarship is for you! SGAC is looking for an Event Photographer to capture the activities during the 19th Space Generation Congress (October 21 – 23 2021). The successful applicant will be able to attend the SGC 2021 and will be granted free access to the 72nd International Astronautical Congress (October 25 – 29 2021)  in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

SGAC is pleased to announce Simon Shuham as the winner of the 2021 $pace is Business ($iB) Competition! This competition, developed in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee (EIC) of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), offered students and young professionals the opportunity to share their views and analysis on the past, present and future of entrepreneurship and investment within the space sector.
